Asphalt shingles are not on the "approved" list of fuels to burn. However our testing does prove that fuels such as this, when blended with biomass to dilute the BTU/lb ratio, can be safely and cleanly burned. Due to the level of fuel/air ratio control we have with our burner, emissions are actually not bad and there isn’t any smoke. We are aware of the potential problem.
